Due to the excessive heat the January Twilight Run on Saturday 24th January 2026 to the St Kilda Tram Museum was cancelled. As it hit 42C on the day and was not fair on the museum volunteers to work in such temperatures, plus it would not have been fun for our members and their older cars. The committee is looking if the run can be rescheduled, and will advise of any updates to this run.
In line with the club name change our clubs website address has changed to be www.aaaclub.org.au replacing www.adelaideantiqueauto.org.au In the short term both new & old website names will work to take you to our website. Any questions please email me at webmaster@aaaclub.org.au Our Next Monthly Club meeting is on the 20th February at 8 pm in the Combined Car Clubs Room, Clark Avenue, Glandore. After the meeting stay for a chat and a cuppa.(note no meeting is held in December).
This meeting is the Clubs 42nd Birthday so there will be a Cake to share.
Our Next Club Run is a Brekky Run on Sunday 22nd February 2026.
Meet at the Clubrooms at Glandore at 8.30 am for a 9.00 am departure.
From here we will have a pleasant approx 30 km drive to a very interesting breakfast venue which includes a nursery, museum and an 18th century brewery. We would like to see as many cars with conditional registration as possible. About the Club: The AAAC started in February 1984 thanks to 3 or 4 people who wanted to start a metropolitan car club different from other clubs of the day.They wanted an all make car club that included families and friends in its activities, and to have frequent car runs to allow the member's participation. The AAAC aims to promote the restoration and more importantly the use of historic vehicles with the whole family joining in and enjoying fun outings and other social events. The club meets at 8pm on the 3rd Friday of each month except December at the Combined Car Club (CCC) rooms at Clark Avenue Glandore EMAIL US!
